Thanks very much jedduh01. I got replacement gaskets for everything and I know that one is in there and I also have a replacement half moon seal.
It must have been left over from when I tore everything apart and I was assuming it was a separate gasket because of how cleanly it was stuck on. I couldn't find it anywhere and now I know why, LoL.
Appreciate the help.

One gasket is on the front plate = behind the timing cover base plate (flat paper gasket)
and then a Half moon shaped rubber seal is in place between the trans and the 'bearing cap'

That's weird, I just checked the link and the image popped up.
I'll try posting it again, thanks for the heads up.

Hey all,
I've finished the complete tear down of my mini and came across something that I need help with. I've looked through the Haynes manual as well as numerous google searches but can't find any info.
I've attached an image of what I believe is called the Big End Cap or possibly I'm confusing it with a Bearing Cap. As you can see there are remnants of a gasket that I scrapped off but I can't find anything about that part having a gasket.
Crankshaft Cap?
Am I missing something? Did the previous owner use a gasket instead of a thrust washer or am I confused as to what part it is and that's why I can't find it?
Thanks in advance as always.
