Boston,
pm me from my profile and include your phone #.   I'm on the east end of LI, just a ferry ride from Beantown.

thanks.  I'll look into those.  My hope is to find someone closer.  The car was a complete re-shell resto before I bought it and is still in amazing shape, it just needs the little things buttoned up (I hope).  I had a fantastic mechanic in the city I lived, used to work at the factory in the UK before coming here, but he passed on some time back.  Guess I didn't know how good I had it

Greetings All,

I posted a similar message a few years back, hopefully I get some fresh leads this time.

I haven't been around in a long while and my poor mini has been sitting in the garage waiting for me to get back to her.  She hasn't fired up in a few years now and I never seem to have time to get out there to get her running and buttoned up (dash is currently out as I was last working on some things).  Last time I tried to start her I wasn't getting a good spark so there was a lot of cranking over and not much running.  Also have a small coolant leak at the water pump gasket.

I was looking around the interwebz for a local shop that specializes in British car resto because the reality is that the only way this car is going to be back on the road is for me to have to trucked to a pro.  My search turned up a garage called "Her Majesty's Auto Service, LLC." in Cranston, RI but I can't find any reviews online.  Anyone here ever have dealings with this business?  Also interested in recommendations if there's another place within flatbed hauling distance.

I basically want to load the car on the truck and the go pick it up in reliable driving condition.  I know I shouldn't own the car if I don't have time to wrench on it myself but my weekends are full of kids sports for the next few years at least.

Thanks,
Peter
