That's a good point, I guess you have to take into account of the loss of safety due to visibility issues, mine too is a RHD. Let me know what you find in your spares.

The short answer about Mayfair type seats is "yes".
I am about the same height as you and have a long body and shortish legs. When sitting, I am about as tall as a 6 plus footer. The headrests are plenty tall enough - if you remember to raise them. They need to be lowered to tip the seats forward for access to the rear seat.

maybe let me look in my parts room.. I know I have couple seats for metro seats. but I do NOT like headrests. and it harder to be see out my minis.as they are ALL RHD... later bc

Hey folks,
Ever since I was inches away from being rear-ended by a giant monster truck because "he didn't see me", I've been thinking about the lack of headrests on my '69. Does anybody know if the headrests on the 80s - early 90s Minis, like the Mayfair, actually work as a restraint? From the pictures they look pretty low, does anyone know if they at least come up to the middle of the head when extended (I'm 5'9")? To me, those seats look like they're the same as my '69 with headrests bolted on, or are they taller?
