+1 for Mike's advice.
What I have done to remove DOT-3 or -4 is flush with water, followed by isopropyl alcohol, then compressed air.

I need to test a serveo. Right now I am using silicone brake fluid. I have an old master cylinder that I need to use but I don’t remember if there’s regular brake fluid in it or silicone in it. So I am looking to clean it out what’s the best way??
