South Carolina’s gas tax is currently 16.75 cents per gallon. Plans are to add 12 cents to that at 2-cent per year intervals, which will increase  that up to 28.75 cents when the 10 year plan is complete.

It went up $0.06 a gallon, not $0.60.
I simply stated what was written. I had not heard anything about a gas tax increase prior or since. So gas prices in my zip code remain unchanged. I apologize if my post may have upset anyone needlessly.
