I know a few of us were working hard on having a Mini at MME this year. I still plan on keeping to the schedule, I am the greatest procrastinator!

Started one in 1993 late.  Still not done.  Started again late last year.  Rush was on to bring to MME but now lost steam again.

I think we should have an award for longest restoration project! Could be a virtual award, maybe make this into a virtual meet!

Teardown started in 2001.  I think I've turned the corner and am starting to put things back onto the car...

Maybe this lockdown will get me in there welding again.

The MME 2020 Organizing Committee has decided to cancel the Event in Owensboro, KY.

The potential impacts of COVID-19 is the determining factor for the Committee's decision.

The Committee is very concerned for the safety and welfare of all the Mini community, our Sponsors, Advertisers and Attendees. We want to thank you for all your support for MME 2020 and hope that this health crisis recedes in the near future and we can resume our normal lives and activities.

For the funds paid to date, they will be fully refunded in the next couple of weeks.

If you have made a room reservation at the Host Hotel, Best Western Plus in Owensboro, KY please cancel by calling 270 - 689 - 0939.

Event canceled according to an email I just received.

Wait for official verification I guess.  Sad.

At this point the USA border to Canada is closed and vice versa so unless it opens up, l will not be attending

Interesting conundrum...

In the event of FoS being cancelled/postponed and international travel still being permitted (hah!) the possibility of attending MME opens up.

Have the organisers given any thought to whether it will join the ever-growing list of events affected by the current pandemic ?

Just wondering if anyone is looking for any Elf specific parts. I've got a few spares that I might be willing to bring with me to MME if I have a reasonable shot at not bringing them back home.

MME is actually closer to me than MMW this year, but I had committed to MMW a while back since my first mini meet ever was in Victoria.

Could make it there in 1 day's drive, but just can't make it back from MMW in time. Oh well.
