You may be on the right track, but the bigger issue is getting internal parts for these newer transmission. We are not aware of any suppliers that offer them.

All, need some help, have a 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman S, 75k miles and my 6th gear is popping out into neutral during load/acceleration.
