Dove sei in Italia?

Steve (CTR)

Is it the engine or tranny that you want to upgrade? A 1275 A series can be built with a SW 5 cam and nice cyl head to make good power up to 5000 rpm. There has been people who know how to upgrade the 1275 auto box. I have a complete auto unit from a Jap spec mini. I don't do autos so it is for sale. Drove fine engine smoked. Steve (CTR)

I doubt the automatic would last long revving over 5,500rpm. Also, I don't think there is much advantage trying to rev over 5,500 with a mini engine the way the camshaft and cylinder heads are designed.

hello everyone I write from Italy! sorry for the translation but i don't know english, so i use google translator!
I am disabled and I have the obligation of the automatic transmission, I am in love with the mini classic, so the only solution is the minimatic.
I wanted to know how to upgrade the engine, because from what I have read and understood on the internet, the problem is that by upgrading the engine you reach more rotations that the automatic transmission does not support because it reaches a maximum of 5500 rpm.
Do you give me advice or tell me who can I contact?
I hope you understand something thank you all
