You can get the computer, but can you use the computer?

Tuning is the key ingreident to making power... and a tuner has the knowledge for sprinkiling in timing and fuel to make the most 'POWER".

find out what specs the computer has. then find a tuner that can work with those. On a Dyno... Rolling road tuning will yeild the best results

Figure a day of tuning with multiple pulls to get a best result.  average ~1000$ to pay the tuner for his time.

Learning all that your self would be a STEEP curve for sure. -  no guranteed results

A good head + exhaust will help that litlte cam breathe best too.

The spi ecu is good up to 80 to 85 hp i doubt you are close to that figure with your current set up.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

A computer does not make more HP. Larger displacement makes more HP. The setup you created is for running at higher RPMs.

Hello,

I see that there is a company in the UK that makes a nice computer for the Spi and I'm wondering if it would help my car gain hp. I have a few modifications including a Swiftune SW5 cam, milled head, lightened flywheel, header, K&N filter, 1.5 roller rockers.

Looking for any opinions from anyone with experience on the computers. I should probably get a better cylinder head too.

thanks
