I think the Quicksilver might be 'slightly' louder as it completely eliminates the secondary cat.

The NM has a small resonator in the B pipe, so that should reduce some dB's.

Thanks for the info, I assumed it was discontinued. any opinions or experience with quicksilver and the NM?  I was leaning more towards the borla touring as it didn't seem as loud as the sport. Looking into the quicksilver and I like to looks and the sound doesn't seem to harsh either.

The Borla touring was discontinued back in early 2020.

I’m finishing up getting my Mini all fixed and ready to upgrade. My first power upgrades are going to be intake and exhaust. I plan on doing a AEM intake, I like the idea of a functioning hood scoop. I was looking at a a borla touring exhaust but cannot find it anymore. I want something that will help my engine breath a little better without  being obnoxiously loud. The borla touring seemed to be just slightly louder than a JCW.  I plan on basically dairying the car so I don’t want anything to droney or loud. As far as power I just want a little added power to the car, I’m not going to go crazy.
