I have a 2009 R56 Non-Turbo car that recently sucked a valve seat and did some damage. I am looking into rebuilding the engine since it is very difficult to find a well taken care of low mileage engine to swap out. - (unless you have one for sale and you are reasonably close.)
I am in Northern California, about an hour between Sacramento and Stockton. Looking for suggestions on a machine shop familiar with these engines.
Has anyone done this to one of these cars? What did it cost you? It's been almost 30 years since the last engine I rebuilt and it was a Hi-Perf Small Block Chevy. Back when we could afford gasoline...
