The "shopping experience" seems a lot fresher, cleaner and faster. I received the survey invitation this morning and had to try out shopping for various items before completing the survey. I think it is a huge improvement over all.

I say the classic Mini outline/silhouette is straight to the point of what it is without needing too much detail, as is the new MINI one. Just my $0.02. But to each their own. 

I'm OK with the new logo. True it does not emphasize the traditional side seams, though you may not have noticed it does not have wheels either! As a stylistic outline, it does read classic Mini to me (sorry new MINI owners).

On the new home page, the classic Mini image is full colour and the other 3 are faded back. It turns out that is because MY preferred car is a classic Mini. I tried going to the minimania home page on a browser I don't normally use and where my preference is not tracked. Lo and Behold, if I select one of the other 3, the logo profile changes to the selected type. Not only that, the logo name changes to "minimania" ('mini' in red, not blue), "spridgetmania" (gold) or "morrismania" (silver). Likewise, the subtitle changes from "Parts and Accessories for Classic Mini Cooper" to "Parts and Accessories for Morris Minor" etc.

WOW they have been busy!

One thing I do like is that the head banner takes less screen geography, leaving more space for content.
And deep down, the company is still MiniMania! (Not even MINImania!)

I'm noticing a change to our hosts logo. I for one have to say they that I'm not crazy for it. Looks like a deseamed mini.
