Thanks for the comments, I'll take the bumper off today & see if I can remove the rubber strip.

It almost looks like the rubber strip from a Canadian bumper stuck onto a standard bumper.

I don't know what the bumper is, but the rubber strip could have been added to a stock bumper, it looks added to me. What I would do is remove the bumper, then remove the rubber strip and see what the bumper looks like. I personally would put a stock Mini front bumper on it without the rubber strip.

This one's got dings & it is twisted.
Talked to sales with our host but they are not too sure it ever came off a Mini. The black rubber strip on the lower half of the bumper is not standard they think. 1971 Mini.
