Somewhat salvageable parts car.
This is why I have a roll cage in mine. Not to say the roll cage would make occupants totally safe, but safer in this situation.

.
Simple recipe for Excitement:  Take 1 Classic Mini. Throw in 1590cc's of engine. Add 5 gears. A dash of 94 octane. A sprinkle of style inside and out. Toss in 1 MadMan and finally heat tires and pavement to taste. Recipe produces 1 Mini VTEC conversion and full satisfaction. Motor on!

Sad to see a Mk 2 bite the dust. So many years the rust takes its toll on the spot welds, the mini crushes like an aluminum beer can.

My understanding is it was at one point registered here.  The VIN was MA2S4S422384.

A solemn reminder that what we drive may not fair well in accidents. Hoping there was no passenger or at the very least, that they're ok. The driver may be thinking they made a good decision to stay with the RHD controls though.

This popped up at an impound auction in LA last week.  Was wondering if anyone knew what the story was and if whoever was involved made it out of whatever happened in OK shape.
