I know, and that makes you believe that its just a push connector, but mine are REALLY on there. To the point that it felt like they would break if I kept pulling on them. The reason I ask is because sometimes there is a cleverly hidden little tab that you have to lift or push or something in order to undo some of these cable connections or sometimes there is a bit of a trick to loosening them.
Believe it or not that connector might end up being the sole reason that I take the car to the mechanic to do the job rather than doing it myself. I have broken one too many little plastic doodads on modern cars..

I know this doesn't help, but the only thing the instructions says is to:
Remove protective cap (1).
Disconnect connector (2).
If you have a close-up of the connector, maybe that might help.

I have searched everywhere for a video or instructions on how to remove the Dynamic Damper control wire from the strut with no luck.
Have a 2016 F55 s model that needs new struts. I did a bit of exploring and could not figure out how the connector is released. I didn't want to keep poking and prodding because it seems really easy to break, and I don't want that. I took pictures at the moment but I can't find them now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
