almost put a tow hitch on my Countryman, had sketched up one like Red Riley shows, but I was going to add two flat steel bars under the floor to tie it to the front subframe. Sketch had a couple of turnbuckle-ish tensioners so that tow tension was always applied to the front sub. Aaaaand then I crunched it in a parking lot accident, sold the wreck. Was just an 850 but that wagon was a funmobile. Could drive an 850 like a Tokyo taxi driver, flat out everywhere, and nobody knew. Since then have had no wagons or pickups.

Someone on the forum sold me this one that they were building a few years ago. I don't remember who it was.Edit: I searched the forum and it was Angel Ruiz (MADDOG) that was selling them for a friend who was building them in small batches. Looks like he hasn't been on the forum since 2015.

Simple recipe for Excitement: Take 1 Classic Mini. Throw in 1590cc's of engine. Add 5 gears. A dash of 94 octane. A sprinkle of style inside and out. Toss in 1 MadMan and finally heat tires and pavement to taste. Recipe produces 1 Mini VTEC conversion and full satisfaction. Motor on!

I have one. Bolted it on and never used it so took it back off. If you have a center exit exhaust fitting a hitch will be a challenge. Click on my forum name and you can see my email address.
