Sad day losing Dave. After I returned home from helping to rescue the last two survivors at the WTC on 9/11 there was a message from Dave on my answering machine. He heard me on an interview from the WTC site with NPR radio following that rescue and called to say he was proud to know me and hoped I was safe. While I had an ongoing business relationship w/ Dave over the years, we never met being 3000 miles seperated us. But I was touched he thought enough of me to reach out that day. RIP Dave you'll be missed.

I had mentioned it on the MK1 board in a post. Having only met once many years ago I have used Their parts and information all along my journey. Those who know me know the wife ii/was in real estate. Finding a NOS in sealed package that was 20 years old I called David for some help. He got back to me with his cell # and he explained just how it would have to be set up to wake up at 2200. Both of us a bit long of tooth we talked about whats next. Seems his son and family live out in the Va country side. He planned to close the shop as post Covid rents are unreasonable. My sq footage doubled. His plan was to find property near his son and grand children and retire to Va. We got the chance to talk about our friend Vizard and many other topics. A outstanding person and a credit to the industry. May he Rest In Peace. Steve (CTR)

This morning I learned from a friend down under that Mr. Anton passed away last month.  I only knew him from Vizard's books and one or two phone orders I placed with him years ago.  The best vendor of cams and cam gear for the A series, and by all accounts I have seen, a great source of knowledge and a great friend to those who knew him well.
