If the machine marks are not deep, they could be polished out using a cloth polishing wheel in a bench grinder and some metal polishing/honing compound. You could go all the way to a mirror finish.

Has anyone found a good quality stainless wiper set for classic cars? Looking for 10 or 11", willing to buy with arms and entire kit or without. Looking for 304 grade. Every set I ordered from various UK suppliers has machine marks.
