Happy Birthday Mini, 65 years old. Still driving my mini everyday as it is my only mode of transport. Long live the mini and my mini. I went to two birthday parties at Silverstone Race Circuit in England - the 30th and 35th birthday celebrations.

Hey Martin! Thanks for the good reminder for everyone! Wow, 65 years! I want to slightly "hi-jack" this birthday thread to invite everyone to the: All British Field Meet, Portland Oregon this upcoming Labor Day Weekend at Portland International Raceway! August 30, 31, and September 1, 2024) ABFM-PDX.com Note that this is probably North America's largest All British Field Meet held at a Racetrack! And, this year, we celebrate the designs of Issigonis, so be prepared to see quite a few Minis and some other cars he designed!

I believe the first Mini rolled off the production line 65 years ago today.
