oh man, I always get confused with exhaust parts. Good catch dan on spotting the differences! Learning something new every day.

Not too difficult to spot.
A Mini exhaust has one bend from the down section to the horizontal. If you look closer at his mystery pipe, the manifold flange has a bend very close to it, then 3 more bends. If you tried to fit it, the long section would be somewhere off the right side of the car like a motorcycle pipe.
