Hi folks

The wifes R56 Cooper is not blowing cold air. It did this about a months go and I topped up with refrigerant and it seemed to fix things. Cold air again.

This week it stopped blowing cold again, but this time it didnt need freon as pressure was still good. So something else afoot. Did a little searching and I found that the relay can go bad. Seems like a quick and (relatively) cheap thing to check first. I tried pulling the relay while the AC was running to see if I could hear a click but I did not hear anything. Sounds like the relay is not kicking in to trigger the compressor.

So, is this eve a possible cause - doest that sound like good intel? Second, looking at the product page is the R2 Gen2 relay the product I need?

Thanks much
