Yes, this forum has evolved. Many have left this earth and others have moved on. I plan on staying. I was bitten by the mini bug many decades

ago. I'm still inflicted by the mini fever. And a devote to Alec Issigonis. He was a genius.

Us, the crazy miniacs are still here. I am grateful for the interaction and the valuable knowledge. Jim

Ahh.... You may have a point!

I've had my current e-mail forever... but my first stint here may pre-date even that!

Where else do good mini folks congregate, I wonder?

MME in Reading Pennsylvania this summer!

SCUM #2. "Life is too short to own just one classic Mini!"

@Kermy. Interesting to hear... But I can see how an unpleasant environment can drive folks away.

I recently returned after being gone for slightly more than a handful of years... (mini was in storage during several relocations)

I came back to find a very different place. My account was deleted - gone too long, It seems...

 - I see activity has died down quite a bit. I recall this was a pretty lively place back in the day. It was hard to keep-up. Lots of fun shenanigans and lots of good folks.

Did everyone go off to Facebook or elsewhere? I killed faceboook off quite a while ago. It just became hard to tolerate. (Minis were not a thing on facebook then.

Where else do good mini folks congregate, I wonder?

The beginning of the end came a few years ago caused by a poster named Robster who created chaos and discord which drove many people away. It was hard to believe one individual could be so disruptive. Also it doesn't help that the Racines are no longer involved.

Not belly up. Slowed way down but do usually have a post or two a day. Not the place it used to be years back for sure.

"How can anything bigger be mini?"
