I use a surface grinder to machine the back of the sprocket to bring it into the low end of the spec.

Installed new cam, oil pump, duplex with new triangle plate. Can end float is 007”. Spec is .003-.007. I deal is .003. How do I get to .003. Machine .004” off sprocket face that touches the cam?
