I don't know if your car even has hydraulic lifters or a metal timing chain. Or maybe a timing chain/belt tensioner is sticking. Since the noises go away as it warms up, my suspicions would lean toward an oil change/engine flush/oil additive to free up sticking parts due to old and/or gummy oil. Use only oil additives approved for your car. At least do an oil and filter change.

You didn't say what the mileage on your car is, but at 10 years old, and depending on how well it was driven and maintained, the engine may just be getting tired.

At the beginning of the video, a rattling noise can be heard along with the engine RPM, and then the noise disappears. If you pay close attention, in the first video, the noise stops at the 7th second, and in the second video, it stops at the 6th second. If you listen carefully, you can hear the rattling noise disappearing.

My car has 77,000 km on it, and all maintenance has been done regularly and completely. Last year, the entire timing chain, VANOS, and sensors were replaced. However, we haven't been able to pinpoint the exact source of this noise.

Hello, I am the owner of a 2016 R60 with 190 hp. My car makes a noise when the engine is cold during the first start-up. Once the engine warms up, the noise disappears. We haven’t been able to identify the source of the noise yet. The crankshaft pulley, water pump pulley, and belt have been replaced. Yesterday, the water pump tensioner pulley was also replaced, but the noise still persists, so the mechanic reinstalled the old part. Could you help me figure out where this noise might be coming from? Does anyone have any ideas?
