Dead man’s pedals (foot rests) for a left-hand drive Mini—definitely a niche part, but you’re right, race and rally Minis often have custom setups.

I did this for my left foot rest. Just a piece of aluminum (it started out as a mud flap from Autozone) bent to shape and stuck with velcro to the footwell carpet. You just have to get creative and think out of the box. I modified a dead pedal for a Jeep to use in my Dodge truck that didn't have a left foot rest.

Drivers often use dead pedals or footrests in LH drive Mini racecars for stability and control. Key options include Rennline and Lohen, both offering aluminum dead pedals with grip for various Mini generations. When choosing, prioritize strong material (like aluminum), excellent grip (nubs or grip tape), secure mounting, and specific fitment for your LH drive Mini model, also checking race regulations if applicable furry translator

Looking for a dead man's pedal/foot rest for a LH drive mini, I've tried a couple of other forums with no luck. There has to be racers out there that use them in their racecar, right?
