Idler gear conversion for straight cut drop gearsets only. This set up is for Pre A plus idler gearbox cases only (4 sync) and uses a roller bearing centrally unlike the old timken conversion which had taper bearings either end.

Is the C-STR31 idler gear made for use with a 3 syncro or a 4 syncro gear box (1" OD bearing or 1.063 OD bearing)?

Answer:

Sorry for the confusion, This gear will only work on the Pre A+ 4 sync gearbox.
