Genuine Type 3/4" Rear Brake Cylinder - All later models Minis have these 3/4" double piston cylinders for the rear brakes. If yours leak, the only sure repair is replacement. As used on all MK2 Minis and later models with the exception of a few models that used the GWC1126. These are also the rear wheel cylinders used on Sprites and Midgets that came equipped with front disc brakes until 1974. Includes the retainer clip and gasket.

Does the GWC1102 wheel cylinder come with the retaining clip and backplate gasket?
Answer:
These cylinders do include the retaining clip but no gasket. AP doesn't even include these gaskets on their original cylinders so it's likely considered non-essential. part number 37H4642 if you would like to purchase it separately.

The other 4-way valve on the bulkhead on later cars (part number FAM7821) is frequently wrongly identified as one of the above as they are similar. However, this unit does not have the electrical connection, and has a cylinder sticking out one end. This IS a brake pressure regulator, only fitted to front/rear split systems as far as I'm aware. The PDWA is built into the master cylinders in these applications.
