We totally have different intake manifold alex, ahh knew it! that HIF38 won't work on mine... See? if i jumped to this deal right away i would have been the sole looser.
You are indeed a loser...
But I think your attitude and behaviour speaks for itself.
The two photos are of the cars on the drive. I've used std Metro manifolds in the past, as well as HS manifolds - these are just the currents setups available.

now, anyone selling their extra working electronic distributor??
thanks for posting the pics alex, that answers all my questions.
..And Dan, i was shocked that i apparently made a slur on her by saying the word cum, jeeez, HONESTLY , i DO NOT know these kinds of words, i am asian/malaysian and im totally unaware of it, all i wanted to do is to shorten the word "come",, we asians do that a lot when texting.
hmmm, wait a minute, why and how did you know about that word??? hmmm? made me think..oooops!

no zip let me explain, the sumpguard has been install ecen weeks before we had this quadrelateral deal. i the HIF 38 is WORTHY to replace my HS4, then i can ea-silly take the sumpguard off and send it to the sunny san diego via fedex. alex promised to post pics of his claimed several cars that he installed the hif38 into but he post cartoon characters with my username on it. so up to now im still lost if the hif38 is worth my time and energy, but really i want to make my lowly little mini to run faster, i was made to believe that the more has and air you put in the engine the faster it goes. i was thinking if i can drill the carb jet with a very very skinny drill bits i could probably attain additional power that i need. .. still contemplating and thinking the ifs an buts of it...
Sump guard on or off doesn't matter - you ruined the deal by being offensive and abusive and now repeating yourself. You know you were making a sexual slur to another member by mis-spelling "come" (and don't try to play the "English is not my first language" ploy - it doesn't work) and then doing it all over again by suggesting that member is JEG's wife, thereby re-offending Jeg as well in the process. Jeg said "My portion of this deal's off."
You are becoming your own worst enemy.
Oh, and by the way, trying to drill out the carb jet won't work. EVER.
But you can try.
You're going to need at least a drill press.
.
"Hang on a minute lads....I've got a great idea."

Congradulations Boison.
You've managed to totally derail a thread that was helping folks out.
You offer up a sumpguard that you, most likely, do not have* for a carb that you probably don't need*. And all the while, flinging mud and BS every direction possible.
*-Why on earth would you paint the sumpguard and install it when you're trading it away? That, and except for the oil drips it does not look like it's installed on the Pink Wonder. So they're probably images that you found with the Google.
*-You claim to have a carb that is "functioning perfectly" Why are you looking to trade a known for an unknown?

If I remember correctly, the HIF38 flows about 12% more air than the HS4. More air = more vrooom. Looks cooler too...
