I'm in church, i'm at work, i'm eating lunch, i'm eating an early dinner, just an endless list of B.S. excuses you have tried to have us believe.

You are so thick you don't know a good deal when it hits you in the face. For you to have been getting a fully cleaned and re built HIF 38 carb for a used up badly prepped and painted only £54 new sumpguard and then screw the whole deal up over your BS is just what i would expect from you. Even if you never used the carb it was worth minimum 3 times what your pos sumpguard was worth.

I could only imagine* that, if you did the prep/paintwork, your Mini looks like it has a case of the shingles.....

*-I need to imagine it, as I doubt that the car has been painted. Kinda difficult to produce a picture of something that doesn't exist eh?

whaaat???  i already showed you a picture , and a sumpguard with sticky.  the problem is you only want to believe the things you want to believe.

Perhaps that nice fellow from California supplied a better address than "The biggest a$$hat in Yuma, AZ. Or, if he's not there try Killeen, TX.

yes i didn not email you because im still gathering informations about the advantage of the 38 over the s4. i apologize

Keep gathering that information that's already been spoon fed to you. Maybe next time you can take advantage of a deal. (That's provided you could find anyone here foolish enough to deal with you.)

the sumpguard was already wrapped in newspaper and scotch tape and ready for shipping to sunny humid san diego, i was just looking for a box to fit it.

Did any of the fresh red paint rub off?

send me you number and i'll call you...if you want me to apologize personally.

You seem to enjoy typing up nonsense. Why not email John direct with your "appology"? His email is in his profile...

john, you know what happened. we all know what happened, how would you expect me to know if the HIF38 will work on my mini or not? im not a mini expert, on the time when you were on vacay, i took the chance to ask the people here in minimania if:  first, will the HIF38 work on my mini? second, what advantage would i get if i switch to HIF38 since i have a working HS4 right now.,(my hs4 might be working but it, may not be as good as the HIf38) and how would i know if its better than the HS4? that was the reason for the delay, days had past,i wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth(im not calling you a horse, sorry) that's why i've been waiting for you to come back, because you know if the your carb will work on my manifold.  then alex said yes it will fit on my current manifold, but then when he posted a picture of his set up, to my surprise it was not the same manifold that i have now, so i got more confused., he has the manifold that is separated from the exhaust, mine is connected., i dunno if he was trying to bluff me.

then dan said it will fit to any 1.5 diameter intake, and that the studs are compatible it's just the abutement plate that is different, then the good ol mal offered his abutement plate for free, but then i dont want to commit to malsal because im not sure yet if the 38 witll fit mine,i dont want malsal to think that im taking advantage of his kindhearted-ness-ness. and will end up not being used. then again someone said that he has to replace his manifiold and bang his firewall in order to fit the 38. at that time i was already dead confused. which is which!! then one week came and you were back, and you said that you are packing the 38 to send to a "nice fella" from california. i was shocked, a lot of things came to my mind, some possibilities would be, on that one week that you were away, this "wonderful fella" from california must have been busy emailing you and brainwashing you to send him the 38 instead, or perhaps you were offered an amount which is you can't resist,, but who knows!

Funny, isn't it Dan - the magnanimous offer of a carburettor which I'd previously intended to sell in exchange for a sending a used sumpguard of nominal value ($54 price of a new sumpguard, same type, from MSC) to San Diego.  An offer spawned of pity; that some unfortunate was having difficulties and I was in a position to lend a helping hand.

It could have been a 'win-win-win', but given several chances for Tony to conduct himself in a civilized and respectful manor to the other board members - particularly the female members of our community, and given several chances for Tony to E-mail a shipping address, the deal fell through.

Who lost?  I suspect that Armycook can afford his own $54 sumpguard, and I can save up for the 'real deal' if I really have to have a rally plate for the wall, and I'm sure the new owner of the carb will be able to install it and enjoy driving around.

It probably wasn't as sophisticated an investigation as Armycooks, but for fun, I enterted "robster" in the search bar and did a search on the forum.

Interesting what came up that didn't seem to have "robster" in the thread.

Remember "Suemini"?

I also found where Boison, posting as Pauchen admits to being Robster in a thread titled "my_reason_ for_coming_back"... and on and on.

Another curious event in history was back in January where Jeg offerd to sell Tony and anyone else who wanted to respond a HIF38 for $200... to which Tony (as velicity) replied:

... all in a thread titled "RVM" started by Tony (as velocity) about rear view mirrors, of all things.

Tony doesn't deny he's used many identities to post here.

lets respect the OP of this thread, we need to go back to the thread proper which is the mini parts Swapfest. i still need the HIF38.    someone said he' s got plenty of them, and electronic dizzy he's got numbers of them, where it is now???  lets close the deal once and for all..

Can't confirm then I can't accept a bogus sump guard. Whoever you are.

All we need to do that is for you to stay off all the threads, you are a total disruption with your backyard fixes and snake oil remedies we don't care go away and annoy another forums members.

I don't think anyone will do any kind of a deal with you on any parts on this forum with the lies and bull$it you spread so dig into your pocket and pay retail for your carb and distributor, after all it's only money.
