Oh, please do tell us what's wrong with the car - maybe we can help sort the issue(S)...  Hahahahhaa   Yeah, I'll be first in line...  As posted on another thread, it struggles at speeds in excess of 45mph, so I'd guess it's got several issues.  Pity.  Many months ago we all tried, and pointed him to articles, free resources and such to no avail, only to recieve all manner of vile abuse from him. 

I genuinely felt bad for him when he asked for an HIF38 carb and an electronic dizzy and thought it an opportunity to extend a proverbial olive branch.  I figured he'd had some sincere desire to assimilate in a more positive fashion. 

I offered an HIF38, and he had several chances to E-mail a shipping address to me and chose not to.  Y'all know the story, he had several days to do so, during which time he was on the message board and posting nonsense, also on this thread.  And he was posting all sorts of deflamatory crap, again, some of it was on the thread immediately after my inqueries as to where to send it...  And then claiming that I didn't give him a chance and if I'd 're-offer it' when I came back from vacation or some such nonsense.  (Yes, I'm on vacation but didn't travel anywhere, just day-trips up to the estate and to the garage...)

Then he started asking why he wanted the carb and if it would fit.  Then he started begging me to give him another chance, as if I'd cancel the deal I made after he chose not to E-mail an address to me.  Someone took the initiative and contacted me after I'd declared Tony 'out' for being a jerk, and will be checking the mailbox soon for an HIF38 carb.

It's ok, he also posted - subsequently deleted - that his home country is Malaysia and he is how he is - take it or leave it - (I should have 'quoted' the post at the time - priceless)...

I know exactly what's wrong with the real Robster's mini. If this guy is serious in acquiring the carb then he would just flat out declare it and "maybe he can earn a little trust but he won't because he isn't the same person I think.

I did some investigating of my own today.

I forgot to tell everyone that I personally have spoken to the real Robster awhile back. He has my email and phone number. He was gonna buy my first mini (purple mk3) months ago but ended up getting a better deal with the special pink mini. 

So I found his number and said hi. Right now, I really don't trust either of you but I wanted to know if Boison and good ol Rob is the same person. Weird because Rob is actually having issues with his car right now that's why he hasn't driven it in a while. On top of that, Rob is not from KL. He's Filipino like me.. From the Philippines.

Its funny the Robster I spoke to did have plans of painting the car a different color but sad to say he wasn't  able to finish it yet. So I don't know who's red mini you've been posting. 

So if you're the same guy you should be able to tell me what's going on with your pink mini right now And why aren't you driving it around? Give me some details. I will confirm it when you make your reply. 

jeg, why don't you just send the rebuilt one to me and send the un-rebuilt carb to the "wonderful guy" from california that you were talking about.

i honestly feel that i  deserve the rebuilt carb because i got this deal first,if you didn't back out, we could have closed it, and i could've sent my super durable, aircraft spec standard sumpguard to sunny san diego, and you get the patina license plate.

you knew i was waiting for your reply all along, and when you came back from a week vacation, the first thing you posted was that you were packing the carb and sending it to a decent guy from california... im like, wow really now??

Armycook, he's not one of us - it's been looked into thoroughly.  He was in Yuma which would have been very convenient for you to go over and deal with him in the Army way.  But he moved to Killeen, TX because his wife works and he doesn't.  She manages an apartment building and is director of marketing for her church.  They have bounced back and forth from Ft. Hood to AZ a few times.

So, take the ten seconds to photograph the pink wonder in it's current state.
