Aloha!

I know, I know, I've already posted on NAM a number of times, and I have contacted three different MINI Dealerships on this one. This is in regards to the Factory installed NAV Systems in the Gen 1 MINIS. My NAV system has worked perfectly since new in my 2004 MINI COOPER 'S'. After picking it up from the Kahului Harbor in Maui after my recent move, I got no map!!! It states on the disc jacket that came with the car, that Hawaii is included in the West Coast Maps of the USA, but Oahu is the only Island listed. IS THERE ANYONE ON MAUI WITH A GEN 1 MINI WITH NAV THAT HAS MAUI MAPPED??????????? The Dealers keep scrathing their heads and putting me off. The 'Service Advisors' keep telling me that they are waiting to hear back from the 'Engineers' on this??????????? This has been going on for almost 6 weeks now! There must be a shortage of Rocket Scientists right now, cuz this problem is not getting solved. I just keep getting passed off. Even with my new laid back no worries Hawaiian way of life, it's started to wear on me some brah. Yes, I know, Maui's not that big, I should be able to find my way around without NAV no problem right. It's just that the MINI came with it, and I'd really like it to be working since I have it already. If you can help, then you da bomb brah! I'd really appreciate some help/info. Mahalo.                                                      Mini Estate

P.S. Took the 2004 MCS on the 'Road To Hana' last Friday, (68 miles with 620 curves and 59 bridges) It was fun to be sure, but I'm looking forward to taking a real Mini (my '67 Woodie Wagon) on the repeat run! I can already see a smile coming from the grill!
