It may just be me, but I like the look without. I think KAD or perhaps someone else makes a nice rear wheel bearing alloy center cap for the hub. Paint everything nice and go without. Even when I buy new 4.5 X10 minilifes I will not use my caps. I have a drawer at the shop with all center caps from wheels I have bought since 1970. I'll look but don't think I have any that large. Is that a 12 inch wheel? Steve (CTR)

I made some centre caps from stainless steel cups or tumblers , get them from the hardware store or the bathroom shop or think a little left of centre, they were very good.

I could not find some rather large ones for Alleycat wheels and ended up using spray paint can lids.

Midland Wheels has a good selection of centre caps. Maybe your wheels are amoung this lot.

Okay.
There are/were several makers of wheels of that general style, each with differences, in particular the exact hole diameter and how it is shaped to hold a cap. There are/were makers of many styles of after-market caps, apparently of varying diameters and fastenings, most of them pricey.
Which is why my car doesn't have any either. Mine had plain black plastic caps with four lugs pointing inward, which broke off from age. One idea I haven't finished trying is getting some of those small stick-on convex mirrors for vehicle side mirrors and sticking them on lke mini baby-moon hubcaps. (I bought a pair which are languishing in my tool box.)
You need to post a sharper picture of the wheel, a close-up of the hole showing any grrooves etc that would hold a cap in. Measure the hole as accurately as you can - 2.5" may be a bit general. They may be 52 mm or other another size (2.5" = 63.5mm)

Presumably you mean road wheels. Best to provide, if you can, info on the make and style of the wheel as well.

Can anyone tell me where to buy a 2.5" cap for a vintage Mini?
