Although not called a Cooper..... my vote would be for the Innocenti 1300 Export.  Cooper S engine, cool dash, vented windows etc.

I would think the 64 1071 Cooper S would be right up there. It was surely a giant killer right out of the box. Steve (CTR)

I agree.
And if you can't find one, the next best is the 1971-73 Australian Clubman GT.
Unlike the UK's 1275GT, This was a real 1275 Cooper S underneath but dressed in (Clubby) drag.Cool

spitz these two, robster2 and assbob are one and same person, he used to be roloster but jemal banned him and he re-register, i would strongly suggest jemal to ban his IP address not  just the username and email so he wont be able to re-register.

Wow, are you smart! A fella has to get out of bed mighty early to get the best of you! It must be the googtuple degree in computernology you got from Degrees-Er-Us.com!

Now, it's time to put my 1977 Austin Mini Cooper to bed because it's 10:63 in the morning here in Lithuania!

Robster, what do you mean? I just want to know what the best MINI Cooper available is and I've heard that the 1977 Astin Mini Cooper Special is the best one from someone on the internet one time.

You should know from another thread that Roloster was actually Air2Air, and I'm definitely not Air2Air. I've never even met him. I just want to know what the best MINI Cooper is to buy and enjoy so that I can stop having to ride my scooters around Yuma Arizona all the time.

Robster2 I am jealous of your car now. I will spend much of my time trying to find such a rare and fantastic car. Having all of my degrees I can tell you are an intelligent man.

Half of my degrees are from the Philippines and the other half is from Arizona. I usually contemplate life and minis while riding my scooter.

Azbob! What college did you go to? In addition to my double double major major in psychology I have a triple major in Bible Studies!!!

THe 1977 Austin Mini Cooper was the best year! all the other years of  Austin Mini Cooper rusted so bad because they had Russian aluminum in the engine, that's what I was told. In 1977 a new coal mine opened in Poland and that made the best steel for making 1977 Austin Mini Coopers.

And 1977 Austin Mini Cooper is very rare and collectable!!! My 1977 Austin Mini Cooper is appraised at $65,974.35!!! The guys said if I put some color matching duct tape on the hole in the front fender he might go to $65,977.52 for my 1977 Austin Mini Cooper !!

1977 Austin Mini Cooper for the win!!!

Fiahing, I think I know why you posted that. You see, I have a septuple major in psychology, marine biology, business, auto mechanics, speech, computer science, and a last one that I cant tell you because it's a secret.

The angel shark admits defeat is one of the final lines in that video and I think this means that any arguments against my original point are already defeated. So I should be looking for a 1977 Austin Mini Cooper Special with a 1098cc engine. Thank you. I'll keep on the hunt.

He everyone. I'm wanting to know what is the best Mini Cooper? I read online from one place that the 1977 Austin Mini Cooper Special is the best cooper to buy. I want to know because I want to buy the best. No cheap Chinese knock off or jeep looking minis. And definitely not one with cheap wood masking tape on the sides.

Thank you all.
