Nice, i'll look into that.

I ended up buying the vacuum gun to bleed bymyself.

Why why why......

Installed the new switch.  Set up my Gunsen easy bleed.  Hooked it up to my spare tire (9psi fyi, note to self, check way more often) and I hear the sound of escaping air.  Some how the cap to the gunsen resevour was cracked.  Now I need to wait for my wife (8 months pregnant) to get home from work to be my pedal pusher.  GRRRRR

On the plus side, a quick check of the pedal and the brakes lights do light up.  So there is that....

Did one better.  Found a local Harley shop (retro cycles in Boonton, NJ).  They had two harley OEM switches in stock for $19 each.  Lets see if this lasts any longer!

I called up about 5 NAPA Auto Parts. They can get one by 2:30pm today.  That should do the trick.  Hopefully its the right one!

I should probably look into switching to the mechanical switch next time.

I think it is the same.  The Accel swith worked in the past.  Just need to find it locally.

Sorry that I cannot make a specific recommendation.  However, many LBC owners seem to be having luck using the hydraulic brake switch from a Harley-Davidson.  I believe it has been discussed in old threads here and one of those threads may have the part number.

EDIT:  See post 15 in the thread linked below for the HD part number and the thread in general for additional information.

About a year back i replaced my brake switch (along with most of my braking system), yesterday i noticed that my brake lights no longer work.  A quick test of manually completing the circuit shows the lights and wiring is good.  I guess this is why people switch to the mechanical switch.  I just need to to work ASAP (Toy Drive Rally on Saturday).  Amazon Prime gets me the same switch by friday.  Where can i get something like this locally?
