Confirm the connectors for the thermostat housing are plugged into the correct locations:

Check the fuse box in the engine compartment, confirm you have 4 large relays populated up the middle of the fuse box, front to back.
Let us know.

Installed oil catch can 2012 countryman. Now service light is on. Rechecked hose connections. All tight. Car running fine. Any suggestions ?

had the same thing had to change the thermostat housing make sure all the connections are on and tight i left some connections loose forcing me go thru all the connections , hope it helps

i changed out my thermostat housing today due to a leak, after changing it my mini came up with a P053A code I've checked all the connections that i took off. any clue what could be the issue?
