Yeah, it turns out a more intensive google search turned up the following strange results:
hose number 2185, unknown origin, possibly gates in Australia? ( generally gates are 5 digits long )
which lead my very helpful counterman to "bypass hose" 20802, a real gates number, perhaps the dakote bypass unit you described, mal.
The specs for Gates #20802 were listing as:
Hose I.D. # 20802 Inner Diameter = 0.92 Center Line Length 7.2 Row 9
(where row is the fuzzy pic showing the elbow shape)Once again, Thanks

Hi,
I'm seeing the many mini upper rad hoses and the related diagrams, and would like to know if anyone has a cross reference number for North American suppliers of a substitute upper rad hose for the original GRH 467. I really don't need the C-GRH467 ( silicon )
I have a new Rover unit in the bag on my magic shelves, but now note it's a standard one, and it is not quite long enough to reach out to the radiator way out near the beautiful, spacious and bulbous clubman inner fender!
Any guidance, especially with, say, NAPA or O Riley's or somesuch?
Thanks in advance, and,
Best regards,
MSH
