Measured a spare tank and got 2.25” at the notches, to 2.32” 90 Degrees from the notches.

Pretty sure the neck is 2.25 inches OD.

Ive been making use of my spare time wisely doing leathercraft while my car is in the shop for body repair. I even bought myself an industrial sewing machine to make tool rolls/ bags in the future. I figure id make myself a fuel bib using my scrap latigo 10-12oz leather to practice on. Anyone care to help me with size of the fuel tank neck? Id like to make my own design and maybe sell some if I get good feedback.

If this is your car in the photo, I apologize but i couldnt find a better looking angle to best describe what I want. Thank you
