It was re-imported last year from the US (Illinois we think) having been exported in to the states in the 70s.
Despite still wearing its original UK number at both ends, and with a 70s UK tax disc in the windscreen, the DVLA (UK vehicle department) have not issued the original reigistration because, they say, they need more evidence.
Does anyone in the US recognise this car and could lead us to the American owner ? He might have more original UK paperwork.

D Reg.. 66. Heritage Certificates of the vintage often show original reg number.... Might be worth asking.

charrison.. I think you will have to file a V55 with DVLA and get a local classic mini club to ID this car. to get the original reg. NPH 352 D.. I have NOT done one in some time.. might ping someone like Alex here on MM.. based in the UK... later bc
