There should be a bracket for the pump to the right of the steering column in a LHD setup.
Looking at the three original Wingard pumps that I have there is no in or out labeled on them.  Connecting hoses to both connections I still could not find which one was the inlet or the outlet,  neither one sucked in or pushed out.  Placing the non-return valve (on one of the hoses) made it the input line - this is the line that goes from the hose in the bottom of the bottle (with non return valve at this end) and it goes to the pump.  The other hose goes from the pump to the T-Valve (also non-return) and from this fitting goes to the jets. Routing as Kermy said.
