I recently bought a 1990 Mini in flame red. At the time of the purchase, the seller did not have a title for the car; effectively I have a car without a title—only a proof of purchase. But I do have the VIN no., written on the POP, yet having a hard time locating it. New Jersey needs to see a photograph of the VIN in order to grant me a title. I am having a hard time finding it. Where will it be?
