These were fitted to my car by a PO around 40 years ago. They're still a PITA because of the retaining screws that go though the outer edge of the wheel arch... ie they can't be removed without significant panel work and paint.
I would avoid these at all cost....
While the bare arches had a "textured" finish, a coat of plastic primer followed by high build primer and sanding allows a smooth painted finish.
Minisport Australia can provide replicas of the original factory S flairs in narrow (as original) or wide style. These attach to the lip of the arch which is covered by the standard arch trim if you later decide to remove them.

The only different ones were the later body-coloured ones.
Same design as the bog-standard Mini Special/Mayfair arches but with a smooth paintable surface instead of textured plastic.

Hi all. Im looking for a set of mini maifair arches. Im being told they are different than any other arches and were specific to the Mayfairs. Anyone know for sure either way? Anyone have a set for sale?
