The Bugeye bonnet has a very nice system of holding the bonnet open. The latch assembly is easy to use and is absolutely needed as the bonnet weight is high. The must pivot at the bonnet end and thus is attached with a special shoulder bolt. If you have lost your original or have found is badly worn then this is an easy fix.
