Aluminum chrome finishing strip is for the bottom edge of the front parcel tray. Fits all Classic Mini MKI MK1 & II Cooper "S" models until the introduction of factory fitted wooden dashes from about 1994 when it was phased out. This strip never fitted on twin point injection cars.
Aluminum strip finishes off the lower dash, crash pad rail or on earlier cars the painted metal surface of the panel which holds the switch panel section.
