The Bugeye and all quarter elliptic rear spring models have these trailing arms to locate the rear axle.The arms are a strange combination of sheet metal and steel to retain the metalastic bushes. The wear point in these arms is typically only the bushes, but the arm gets mangled in the process of replacing the bushes. New, complete arms are the best answer. 2 per car.
