Classic Mini Upgraded Differential Output Seal In Viton
Oil seal for the differential side cover on all Minis; except for early Automatics and Cooper S with Hardy Spicer. Fits yoke type and pot type. 1.250 x 1.875 x 0.297/0.375.
These are NOT included in the gearbox gasket set (GEG804), so must be purchased seperately.
Question:
For a Classic Mini spi 1996, I haven't been able to find inner tie rod ends for the steering components.
Is there any or does it mean I must replace the whole steering rack?
How can, I determine which cv joint transmission seal is the one for my Mini? Its a 1996 spi lhd manual trans?
Answer:
Yes, generally the racks are just replaced since the inner joints are not available, and frankly, getting them apart is a Herculean task.
