The first Sprites and later Midgets had 1/4 elliptic leaf springs as the main component of the rear suspension. The standard leafs were a 15-leaf design with 1/8" thick leaves but an 11-leaf heavy-duty spring was an option on these cars which had thicker, 3/16" leaves. The 15 leaf units are no longer available - but these 10-leaf heavy-duty springs will smooth out the ride quite nicely! NOTE: These aftermarket springs will raise the ride height 2-3".
Question:
Looking for a stock leaf spring kit for an Austin sprite mk 2. Stock is fine. Do you carry these been searching the site and didn’t find it.
