Cable , Accelerator , Sprite & Midget

If you have ever worked on a modern car with it's 'throttle by wire' replacement for our more common wire cable accerator cable then you should appreicate how nice it is to have real control over what you foot is doing (rather than the computer thinking it knows better). But even if you haven't tried the modern approach you should take care to keep your mechanical version in good condition. A frayed cable can result in either no throttle or worse yet--full throttle just when you don't want it!
