Mini & Mini Cooper Shifter Solid Sandwich Mount Sandwich Sol

Designed and built exclusively by Mini Mania this great part will upgrade your old rubber mounted gearshift remote housing to Cooper "S" standards. The early non-Mini shift housing looks very similar to the Cooper version but is connected to the differential via a "sandwich" mount that has rubber sandwiched between two pieces of metal. Not only are these original mounts no longer available, but even when new, the rubber flexing resulted in poor and imprecise gear shifting. Our new solid one piece design provides the same positive connection as found on the Mini Coopers. An added benefit of this positive connection is the improved stabilization provided to the engine. This sandwich mount system is stock on all Austin America and MG1100 sedans.
