Front progressive bump stop kit for hydrolastic cars. Mounting brackets and rubbers.
Improves car handling; especially under braking and when fully loaded.
Rubbers are available separately, AHH7074.
See C-AJJ3313 for rear kit.

Remove existing bump rubber completely. The smaller hole of the new bump rubber should be fitted over the retainer on the bracket, using hand soap or brake fluid on the rubber if necessary to ease the fitting.

Holes will have to be enlarged slightly in the bracket if the shock absorber kit C-AJJ3362 is fitted, as per instructions in that kit.

Choosing a Sway Bar for your Mini Cooper & S
Created: December 02, 2004
The principle behind a sway bar is to achieve a ‘balance’ to the car, front to rear, such that when we turn at our chosen speed we can maintain control of the car. As a Mini Cooper will naturally understeer in order to get closer to a balance, we either have to decrease the understeer or INCREASE oversteer.
