This rubber seal is easy to install and is designed to keep the water and rain from destroying your 'stuff' in the trunk. The seal will work well in isolating the trunk from dirt and water to keep it dry and clean. Not only will your 'stuff' stay nice but you will unlikely have a rust problem! This is the later seal originally from October of 1972 but it's used as the replacement on all of the boots nowadays.
